Python Process Output tool window
The Python Process Output tool window displays every command run by PyCharm along with its full standard input, output, and error streams.
The main toolbar contains the following elements:
Search field
Search for a process in the list.
Process Tree Display Options
Select what should be displayed in the tool window:
Show start time: Display process start time.
Show process weights: Display the weight of each process in the list.
Show background processes: Display processes started by PyCharm in the background.
Expand All
Expand all items in the list.
Collapse All
Collapse all items in the list.
Output options
When you click a process in the list, the tool window displays its details. The header shows the status of the process (Running, Ok (<exit code>), or Error (<exit code>)), the elapsed time, and the PID. Below the header, the tool window shows the command, the Process Info section with the start time, PID, working directory, target, and environment variables, and the Process Output section.
In this area, you can:
Expand and collapse the Process Info and Process Output sections.
Click
Output Display Options and select Show tags or Wrap content.Click
Copy Output to copy the output to the clipboard.
Title bar context menu and buttons
You can right-click the window header and use the context menu to configure its viewing mode, or resize and hide the window.
You can also use the toolbar buttons:
